Helping With Parkinson's
Muhammad Ali has a legacy in helping fight parkinsons disease. Ali opened the Muhammad Ali Parkinson's Center which encompasses the Muhammad Ali Movement Disorders Center, the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Community Outreach and Wellness Center, and an Outpatient Rehabilitation Center. The Center is a National Parkinson Foundation Center of Excellence and an outstanding resource for people with Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders. The Muhammad Ali Parkinson's Center was established in 1997 by Ali, Jimmy Walker, philanthropist, and Dr. Abraham Lieberman.
